In the book Bud not Buddy by Christopher Paul Curtis, it tells about a boy named Bud and his mother died when he was only 6 years old. First, the orphan got a new home for him called the Amos’ and the Amos’ did not treat him well. They put him in the shed then Bud got scared and was on the lam. Second. Bud found a friend named Bugs and they were going to the train to get to Chicago, but then Bud missed the train and could not go to Chicago so Bud was all alone. Third, Bud went to the library, and got a big book and looked for how far is Chicago from Flint. Forth, Bud was walking to Chicago when a car goes by. Bud runs to the bushes but when this car came he did the same thing he hid in the bushes. The guy in the car stopped and a few minutes later Bud got food from the guy named Lefty Louis. Lastly at the end, Bud found his “father” but when it got close to the end Bud realized his “father” was actually his grandfather.
